Over the past 75 years, CAS has tirelessly engaged in exploration and innovation, achieving a series of outstanding milestones—from building the world's largest single-aperture radio telescope, to developing China's first dedicated synchrotron radiation light source, to launching China's first micro-satellite, to accomplishing the world's first synthesis of a nucleic acid and many, many more scientific and technological advances.
